Associate Family Law Attorney

About us We are professional, and encouraging firm with a rewarding career opportunity. We are looking to add up to two associates to our team if we find the right fit. 0-5 years experience. Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, judgments, discovery
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Assist with trial preparation and strategy
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research methods and resources, such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Excellent legal writing and drafting skills
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in California
• Experience working as an associate attorney or in a similar legal role is preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
