San Jose, CA Starting Salary:
$90,000 to 110,000/year + exponential growth opportunity Nijmeh Law, P.C. is a rapidly expanding family law firm serving clients across the Bay Area. We handle complex and high-stakes matters, including custody litigation, DVROs, support disputes, property division, and multi-county proceedings. We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of family law experience who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and ready for accelerated growth in a high-volume, high-quality practice. Position Overview The Associate Attorney will work directly with the Managing Attorney on active litigation and settlement matters. You will take on substantial responsibility, including drafting, client communications, negotiation, discovery, and hearings appropriate to your experience level. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants significant courtroom exposure, rapid skill development, and a clear path to senior roles within the firm. Primary Responsibilities Draft RFOs, responsive declarations, discovery motions, and MSAs Conduct client meetings, issue-spotting, and case-strategy discussions Handle court appearances independently (commensurate with experience) Prepare and review disclosures, discovery responses, and evidentiary packets Manage a caseload of 10-15 matters with increasing autonomy over time Collaborate effectively with paralegals and legal assistants Maintain accurate and timely billing entries What We Offer Starting salary: $100,000 to $150,000/year, with increases tied to: Demonstrated litigation and writing skills Billable-hour production Ability to independently manage and resolve cases Performance-based bonuses Structured training and direct mentorship Weekly case-strategy meetings with the Managing Attorney Clear advancement path: Associate → Senior Associate → Lead Attorney → Partnership-track potential Strong paralegal support and robust internal systems Your growth here is not capped. Qualifications Required:
