Job Description

About the
Firm:
We're an immigration law firm in search of a senior law clerk to become a valued member of our team. This role entails supporting our attorneys a by managing cases, composing legal documents, and liaising with both clients and government entities. The perfect candidate should be capable of working independently and autonomously within a high-speed setting, and devoted to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing legal documents for employment-based immigration filings, including
EB-1A/B/C, NIW, EB-2/EB-3
PERM, and
H-1B/L-1/O-1
petitions. Conduct legal and factual research on immigration laws, regulations, and agency guidance using tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and official
USCIS/DOL
sources. Draft petition letters, legal memoranda, and responses to USCIS Requests for Evidence (RFEs) under attorney supervision. Maintain accurate case records, track filing deadlines, and coordinate with clients to gather necessary documents and information.
Qualifications:
Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, with strong legal writing and communication skills. Proven experience with nonimmigrant visa applications, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, I-539, E-2, and related case types. Proven experience with immigrant visa and permanent residence matters, including
EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, EB-2
NIW, PERM, and family-based immigration cases. Strong client communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and professionally.
