Associate Attorney - Local Government Law Practice Widner Juran LLP is a Centennial-based law firm focused exclusively on representing Colorado local governments. This includes advising elected officials and staff on everything from the First Amendment to zoning. A day may include drafting a contract for services, advising enforcement officials on due process requirements, and attending a meeting to advise a client on a new development. The firm seeks an Associate Attorney (0-5 years) to support this broad practice in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment with meaningful client interaction and, possibly, some courtroom experience.

Responsibilities may include:

 Legal research, drafting memoranda, ordinances, resolutions, and agreements  Advising municipal clients and attending public meetings  Handling nuisance, code enforcement, and abatement matters  Working with municipal staff, law enforcement, and code enforcement personnel  Prosecuting municipal code violations in municipal court (arraignments, trials, motions)

Qualifications:

 0-5 years of legal experience  Interest in local government  Licensed (or pending admission) in Colorado  Strong writing, research, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:



Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 DOQ for full-time position, plus bonus eligibility  Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and profit sharing  Paid time off and holidays; CLE support Employment position (not independent contractor). Part-time candidates may be considered.
