Job Description
Are you passionate about Family Law and seeking valuable experience in Divorce Law? The Law Offices of Michael P. Doman, Ltd. is currently offering an opportunity to join our team and assist with cases in Family Law, specifically focusing on divorce and related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing legal documents, including petitions, motions, and affidavits.
- Conduct legal research on divorce-related issues, allocation of parental responsibilities, spousal support, and property division.
- Attend client meetings and take notes.
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients.
- Assist in preparing for court appearances, hearings, and trials.
Qualifications:
- Interest in Family Law, particularly divorce and allocation of parental responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills, a plus.
- Knowledge of Law Office Practice Management Software, such as Smokeball, a plus.
