Mid-Level Associate Experience:
4-6 years The Opportunity Advise on corporate governance, securities transactions, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and related transactional matters. Counsel REITs, investment companies, operating companies, and financial institutions on Maryland corporation law. Support public-company governance, board matters, disclosure obligations, and strategic transactions. Work across a national platform with corporate, securities, tax, finance, and regulatory colleagues. Candidate Profile Four to six years of meaningful corporate transactional experience. Excellent drafting, oral and written communication, academic credentials, and client-service orientation. J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to the applicable state bar. Preferred Experience Experience advising REITs on Maryland corporation law or advising public companies on governance matters.

  • 355,000 base salary Work Model
Hybrid:
generally three days per week in office | Billable target: 1,850 hours | Total annual hours: 2,200 National platform with leading practices across litigation, intellectual property, corporate transactions, regulatory counseling, and real estate. Recognized for strong associate development, substantive responsibility, partner access, and extensive professional training. Hybrid structure generally requiring three days per week in the office.
Associate billable target:
1,850 hours annually; total annual time expectation: 2,200 hours, including approved professional development, pro bono, firm citizenship, and business development activities.
