Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an entry-level associate/law graduate (class of 2027) to join the Business Law Department, Fund Formation & Investment Management (FFIM) Practice Group in our Boston or York offices in the fall of 2027. Foley's Fund Formation & Investment Management Practice Group is integrated nationally and represents both fund sponsors and institutional investors. The group offers the full suite of services to General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs); we understand the business objectives, dynamics and trends of GPs, LPs and the entire private funds industry. Our ideal candidate will have excellent document drafting skills and must be comfortable working on teams, having direct interaction with both partners, senior counsels and senior associates as well as clients, and have a proactive, winning and positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic, coupled with a desire to be part of a fast-paced, growing and collaborative environment. Qualified candidates will have relevant experience and/or coursework in corporate law, banking and finance, and/or financial regulation. Summer associate law firm experience preferred. Strong academic performance required. To be considered, candidates must attend an ABA-accredited law school. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
