  • $255,000 a year 21 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance 401(k) Qualifications Law Entry level Full Job Description Please note: This position is for candidates who have already graduated from law school and are currently clerking for a judge, and are looking for opportunities beginning in fall 2027.
It is intended for candidates who have not practiced at a law firm as a licensed attorney prior to their clerkship. We will not be accepting search firm submissions for this position. Faegre Drinker recognizes the valuable real-world experience that former clerks bring to our practice and actively seeks lawyers with clerkship experience from both federal and state courts to join the firm as associates. More than 200 of our current attorneys have served as judicial clerks, including for the United States Supreme Court, United States Courts of Appeal, United States District Courts and state Supreme Courts. We recruit judicial clerks into specific practices and offices and encourage current clerks to apply by submitting a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and writing sample. We evaluate our needs for judicial clerks on a rolling basis; we will contact you directly if our practice group needs align with your experience and interest. The anticipated initial annual salary range for an entry-level clerk depends on location and can range between $160,000
  • $255,000.
Actual initial salary will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law. The initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for attorneys, which includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
