Job Description

Overview We are a boutique law firm in the Montgomery County area seeking a motivated Family Law Attorney with excellent communication skills. Courtroom experience preferred but willing to mentor the right candidate. This position requires the drafting of legal documents, negotiating, legal research, and court appearances. The successful candidate will be client-focused, detailed-oriented, and a team player. As a key member of our firm, you will advocate for clients with professionalism and integrity while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional legal services. We are a respected and accomplished family law firm, in business for more than 30 years. We are noted for handling complex, high-stakes matters with a client-centered and compassionate approach. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and hands-on exposure to litigation, negotiation, and strategy in divorce and family law cases. It is ideal for an attorney who thrives in fast-paced, emotionally nuanced environments.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a JD degree.
  • Must be licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Litigation experience at county level Court of Common Pleas preferred.
Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters including divorce, adoption, child custody, alimony, spousal and child support, prenuptial & property settlement agreements, and protection from abuse. Represent clients in court hearings, negotiations, and proceedings. Advise clients on legal options and case developments. Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with precision and clarity. Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements for clients while maintaining professionalism and advocacy. Collaborate with clients to gather pertinent information, explain legal options clearly, perform case analysis and develop effective case strategies. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
