Job Description

Salary:
$95,000-$100,000 base salary + performance bonus + comprehensive benefits package
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Junior Family Law Associate to join its growing legal team in either Philadelphia or Wayne, Pennsylvania. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with 1-4 years of legal experience who are looking to build a long-term career in family law. Candidates with prior family law experience are encouraged to apply, but our client also welcomes attorneys with a civil litigation background who are interested in transitioning into family law through mentorship, hands-on litigation experience, and ongoing professional development.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle a variety of domestic relations matters, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and property division. Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents. Prepare clients and cases for mediations, hearings, and court appearances. Conduct legal research and develop case strategies alongside senior attorneys. Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and guidance. Manage an active caseload while balancing deadlines and court schedules. Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to provide exceptional client service. Accurately track billable time and maintain case documentation using the firm's case management system.
Qualifications:
Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania. 1-4 years of legal experience. Prior litigation or courtroom experience. Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills. Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities. Family law or domestic relations experience is preferred. Mediation, negotiation, or settlement conference experience is a plus. Experience with legal case management software (such as Clio) is a plus. About the
