Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel, develop case strategies, and represent clients effectively in family law matters. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic legal team, utilizing comprehensive legal research and writing skills to serve clients' needs with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload of family law cases, including divorce, parenting plan modifications, child support modifications, relocations, and guardianships. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on relevant laws and regulations. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity. Advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes. Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and keep them informed throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required. Proven experience or strong interest in family law practice. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis. Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents. Strong negotiation skills to facilitate settlements and client advocacy. Familiarity with litigation procedures and courtroom procedures. Legal administrative experience is preferred to efficiently manage case documentation and client communications. Exceptional research skills combined with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all legal work.
