Family Law Location:
St. Cloud, MN (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility Available)

Full-time About the Opportunity A growing and technology-driven law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its expanding practice. The firm primarily focuses on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, support disputes, and related domestic relations matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to make a meaningful impact in clients' lives while working in a collaborative and modern legal environment. Attorneys with experience in family law are strongly preferred; however, candidates with experience in other practice areas and an interest in developing a family law practice are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
  • Handle a variety of family law matters from intake through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and provide practical legal guidance during sensitive and high-stress situations.
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with support staff and attorneys to ensure efficient case management.
  • Participate in business development and client relationship building efforts. Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Minnesota.
  • Family law experience required.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach.
