About Firm & Position:
Highly respected California-based law firm with approximately 250 attorneys and multiple offices statewide seeks a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its sophisticated Commercial & Complex Litigation practice. The Commercial Litigation Attorney will work on complex matters involving business disputes, regulatory litigation, intellectual property disputes, trademark litigation, and sophisticated employment litigation matters, including wage and hour, PAGA, and class action disputes. This is a partnership-track opportunity offering substantial client interaction, mentorship, and long-term growth.
Commercial Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Handle complex business disputes, contract litigation, regulatory matters, and related commercial litigation cases.
- Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, and prepare case strategy recommendations.
- Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, and coordinate with experts.
- Participate in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups on complex litigation matters.
Hours:
- 1850 annual billable hour expectation.
- Certain approved marketing and business development activities may count toward annual productivity expectations.
