Job Description
Roberts Family Law, LLC is committed to its employees' career development and happiness. We are seeking a smart, hard-working, and self-motivated attorney who will enjoy working on high-level, complex family law matters and who thrives in a team environment. The firm's practice includes representation of clients in all aspect of family law cases involving divorce, custody, property, support, post-judgment issues, adoptions, and domestic violence matters. We employ a multi-faceted approach to resolve issues, including traditional negotiation and litigation, mediation, collaborative law, and arbitration. Our office is located in Rockville, MD, but this is a hybrid position that includes remote work. An ideal applicant should be barred in Maryland and have at least three years of practice in the area of family law, though we will consider out of state applicants with significant experience practicing family law.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a family law caseload involving divorce, custody, child support, property division, and related matters Representing clients in hearings, mediations, and negotiations Routine communication with with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and related professionals Participation with our team, including frequent and regular collaboration all partners, associates, paralegals, and staff. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
