Typing Full Job Description Medicare Compliance Associate:
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. is a Pittsburgh based law firm with offices across the country. The firms Medicare Compliance Group services a national base of insurance carriers, self-insured entities, law firms and state entities in multiple areas of compliance with the Medicare Secondary Payer Statute. The continued growth of the Dickey McCamey Medicare Compliance Group and the firm's regional and national expansion has resulted in the need to once again expand our Medicare team. The firm is currently seeking an associate to join the Medicare Compliance team. The associate will work on focus their practice in MSP related matters. Duties are expected to include preparing Medicare Set-Asides (MSAs), seeking approval of the same from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), researching and drafting legal memorandums and client correspondence regarding the MSP and the statutes associated regulations. Additional responsibilities may include advising clients on legal matters related to healthcare issues and other governmental benefits.
Preferred Educational Background and Training:
Juris Doctorate Current bar admission Helpful certifications and experience (but not required): Legal or claim based MSA/MSP experience Experience in the area of worker compensation CMSP or MSCC Skills required: Strong computer and typing skills Exemplary interpersonal skills Mathematical competency The ability to work in a team oriented office setting
