POST-BAR LAW CLERK - ALBERT & MACKENZIE
(FRESNO/REMOTE) Join our team of experienced attorneys as a Clerk and gain valuable experience in the legal field with comprehensive training and one-on-one mentoring.

Albert & Mackenzie is an established and the second-largest Workers' Compensation Defense Firm in California, servicing every WCAB. We are seeking Clerks with the intention of transitioning to Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate with lien claimants Navigate a case management system Write reports for clients Summarize recent case law and updates Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate or LLM (Class 2027); Pending California Bar application/results in 2027 Excellent writing, proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Dropbox or other shared cloud storage Ability to interact effectively with the public, clients, and employees; maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact; work independently in the absence of specific instruction Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously Critical thinking skills, problem-solving ability, and pride in work product are essential
Location:
Remote optional (from California)
Agoura Hills, Central Coast, East Bay, Encino, Fresno, Inland Empire, Long Beach, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose Compensation:
