In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated salary for this position in Providence is $2,692.00 per week. This salary is Nixon Peabody's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Our summer associates provide legal research, writing, discovery and other substantive support for attorneys. As a summer associate in the Providence office, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments across our litigation department including our practices in Complex Disputes, Labor & Employment, Government Investigations & White Collar Defense, Real Estate and Construction, and Privacy and Technology. You will also receive substantive feedback and mentoring on assignments. We also offer various training programs throughout the duration of the program.
Job Requirements:
We are seeking to hire a 2027 summer associate to join our Litigation Department in our Providence office. Qualified candidates will be second-year law students who have a demonstrated interest and/or experience in litigation. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials (3.0 GPA or higher), superb judgment andmunication skills, excellent legal writing skills, and amitment to teamwork and excellent client service.
