Bar Full Job Description Benefits:
401(k) Competitive salary Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Our client is a premier Texas family law firm seeking Associate Attorneys. The role requires managing cases from consultation to resolution, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court. Ideal candidates possess courtroom experience, J.D. degrees, and Texas State Bar licenses.
Key Responsibilities Case Management:
Oversee family law files from the initial consultation through trial or settlement.
Legal Drafting:
Write and review pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal briefs.
Litigation Support:
Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
Client Relations:
Advise clients, negotiate settlements, and offer consistent case communication.
Qualifications Education:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensure:
Active member in good standing with the Texas Bar.
Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of family law experience. Previous courtroom experience (temporary hearings, trials) is a major asset.
Skills:
Strong advocacy, legal research, and writing skills, alongside an empathetic approach to sensitive family issues.
