Minimum 3 years licensed practice Position Overview Nnabugwu Law Firm, PLLC is seeking a highly motivated Jr. Associate Attorney with at least three years of substantive legal experience to join our growing litigation‑focused practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who is ready to take ownership of cases, appear in court with confidence, and contribute meaningfully to a fast‑moving, client‑centered legal team. You will work across civil litigation , family law , and personal injury , with opportunities for courtroom advocacy, motion practice, discovery, and direct client interaction. Key Responsibilities Litigation management — handle pleadings, motions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation Discovery practice — draft and respond to written discovery; prepare discovery motions Client communication — maintain professional, timely, and clear communication with clients Case strategy development — collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation and settlement strategy Courtroom advocacy — represent clients in hearings, mediations, and depositions File and deadline management — maintain organized, accurate, and timely case files Legal research and writing — draft briefs, motions, and substantive filings Minimum Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active Texas Bar license in good standing Minimum 3 years of experience in civil litigation, family law, or personal injury Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills Ability to manage a litigation docket independently Professionalism, integrity, and strong courtroom presence Preferred Qualifications Experience handling personal injury litigation Experience with temporary orders, discovery disputes, and motion practice in family law Prior trial or deposition experience Ability to work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff What We Offer Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Opportunities for professional growth and increased responsibility Supportive, collaborative work environment Exposure to diverse and meaningful cases Mentorship from experienced litigators Paid time off and firm benefits package How to Apply Submit the following to k.jones@nnabugwulawfirm.com : Resume Cover letter Writing sample List of three professional references Subject line: Jr. Associate Attorney Application - [Your Name]Work Location:
