This 8-week program provides law students with an opportunity for exposure to both the business and litigation sides of the firm. The firm introduces Summer Associates to several areas of law by assigning a variety of projects, including researching, and writing traditional memoranda dealing with legal issues; drafting pleadings and briefs; drawing contracts and corporate and partnership documents; preparing analyses of securities and other documents; attending trials and depositions; and participating in client and attorney conferences and negotiations. These learning opportunities are balanced with weekly social outings to give our Summer Associates an overall experience.
