Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated law enforcement team as a Deputy Sheriff, where you will play a vital role in maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and supporting our community. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to serve with integrity, demonstrate leadership, and make a meaningful impact every day. As a Deputy Sheriff, you will engage in a variety of law enforcement activities, from patrolling neighborhoods to conducting investigations, all while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and community service. Responsibilities Patrol designated areas to deter and detect criminal activity, ensuring public safety and order. Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents, providing assistance and coordinating with emergency responders as needed. Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports. Enforce laws and regulations related to traffic control, animal handling, immigration law, and loss prevention. Utilize surveillance techniques and conduct security checks to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and maintaining peace. Complete accurate report writing for incidents, arrests, and investigations to ensure thorough documentation of all actions taken. Requirements Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage stressful situations effectively. Valid driver's license willingness to learn U.S Citizen Ohio police officer training acadamey certificate (OPOTA)
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
