To be considered, candidates must: At least 21 years old and a U.S. Citizen A high school graduate or have a GED; Qualified applicants with a college degree may receive enhanced compensation. A minimum of two (2) years or more of certified law enforcement experience in South Carolina. SRO certification is highly desirable. Qualified applicants with certified law enforcement may receive enhanced compensation. A valid South Carolina licensed driver; or the ability to obtain a South Carolina driver's license. Honorably discharged from the military (if applicable). Have no pending cases or criminal felony convictions (misdemeanors may require expungement). No THC or Marijuana use within 365 days; some drugs are automatic disqualifiers. No student loans in default status. No criminal convictions If you meet these criteria, you will need to successfully complete our multi-phase hiring process, which includes a POST test, a physical abilities test, a two-phase background investigation, a psychological evaluation, and an oral interview.
