Job Description
Serves as Chief Executive Officer of police operations and administers a comprehensive pro-active program for crime prevention and law enforcement which assures that peace is maintained in the community. Duties include supervision and management of the overall operations of the Police Department and coordination of city police work outside official, organizations and the general public, research, develops and makes recommendations to the city manager and city council on department goals, develops personnel recruitment, processing, selection and training policies
