Lateral Deputy Sheriff Job Type:
Full Time Walla Walla, WA Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office Requirements:
You must have graduated from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Academy (CJTC) for law enforcement. If you have not, you must be able to challenge the process for an equivalency certification consistent with the requirements stated in
WAC 139.05.210.
Eligibility for attendance in Equivalency Academy Opens in new window will be determined by CJTC, based on academy reciprocity. A written test is administered with an oral board to follow. Scores from both are combined with more weight given to the oral board. The applicant must score 70 percent on each test to continue in the application process.
