Police Officer Recruit Job Type:

Full Time Wheat Ridge, CO Wheat Ridge Police Department Salary :

$73,500 - $112,350

Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age at before the graduation date of the academy. For example, a recruit in the January Academy must turn 21 by May 1st ,and recruits in the July Academy must turn 21 by December 1st Must possess a High School Diploma or GED with three consecutive years of demonstrated full-time work experience Have no Felony Convictions Have a valid driver's license State of Colorado P.O.S.T. Requirements - Any person having any convictions for first and/or second-degree misdemeanors during the past five years cannot be P.O.S.T. certified. Any person who has any conviction for domestic violence cannot be P.O.S.T. certified.

Preferred Requirements:

Two (2) years (60 semester or 90 quarter hours) of college credits from an accredited college or university

Veterans:
