Constables are uniformed, sworn Peace Officers carrying firearms and possessing the power of arrest. Employees independently perform the full range of protection and security services within court facilities and assist in serving and executing legal documents in the community. JOB REQUIREMENTS
for Constable I Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: At least 21 years of age. Six months' experience in security such as providing protective services to persons, facilities or grounds from trespassing, theft, and other conditions. Six months' experience in record keeping such as maintaining records, logs, and managing filing systems used for such records. Six months' experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire and report on data.
