Overview We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety, enforcing laws, and ensuring the security of designated areas through patrols, surveillance, and incident response. Your dedication will help uphold our reputation for dependability and trustworthiness in security services. Duties Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure safety Monitor surveillance systems to identify suspicious behavior or security breaches Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with emergency responders as needed Enforce laws, regulations, and local ordinances through effective arrest procedures when necessary Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and law enforcement actions with accuracy and clarity Manage evidence collection and law enforcement procedures following legal standards such as search and seizure laws Engage with the community by providing assistance, conflict management, and first aid when required Requirements Proven knowledge of traffic laws, criminal law, procedural law, and criminal investigation techniques Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable Strong understanding of evidence law, search and seizure law, animal handling, immigration law, and loss prevention practices Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely and efficiently under various conditions Physical conditioning to perform patrol duties effectively over extended periods Certification or training in CPR and first aid protocols is preferred Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage conflict situations professionally Use of force training experience along with firearms handling in law enforcement settings is advantageous Join us at Ramco Protective to be part of a dedicated team committed to safeguarding communities through active patrols, vigilant surveillance, and professional law enforcement practices.
