QUALIFICATIONS
Please Submit Resume High School diploma or equivalent required. Individual must possess at least two years law enforcement experience as a Police Officer. Must possess a basic Police Officer certificate in the State of Illinois or have the ability to become re-certified within three months of appointment. Interested candidates must successfully complete an extensive background investigation.
DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Chief of Police or Deputy Chief of Police, the Part-Time Police Officer shall provide protection of life and property, maintain regular patrols, assist in crime prevention, conduct investigation of crimes, provide public assistance and perform other related duties as required. This is an at-will position. The Fox Valley Park District is a dynamic and growing park district that serves a diverse population of more than 236,000 people.
