Full Time Niles, IL Niles Police Department Salary:
$75,186.33 and $78,945.64Essential Functions:
Full service Municipal Policing. Enforcement of State and Local Laws. Prepare written reports on assigned tasks. Attend court and testify when necessary. Do community policing, assist and render aid to citizens, conduct building checks and investigate suspicious persons, vehicles, noise, etc. Uniform Patrol, traffic control, motor vehicle assists and traffic crash investigations Volunteer to participate in Village Community Functions.Requirements:
At least 21 years of age. A citizen of the United States. Currently a certified Law Enforcement Officer through the Illinois Law Enforcement Standard Training Board. Out of state officers must provide documentation that they have fulfilled the requirements of the training board. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. At least 60 hours of college credit from an accredited college/university. Possess a Valid Drivers License. Physically able to perform Police Duties, Pass Basic Agility Screening. No Felony convictions or convictions for certain misdemeanor violations.https:
