$85,930• Top-out Salary after 5 years : $129,482•Reflects starting salary including optional leave time cashed out and anticipated raises related to collective bargaining agreement currently under negotiation.

Approximately 28,000 No Residency Requirement 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM / 6:00 PM start times) Outer vest carriers authorized Visible tattoos and facial hair permitted in accordance with department policy Department fitness room and recently renovated locker room facilities

Minimum Requirements:
Must be a United States Citizen Must possess a valid Driver's License Must possess a high school diploma, GED certificate, or high school proficiency statement Must be a current full-time certified sworn law enforcement officer in the State of Illinois Must possess a minimum of two years of service with current department at the time of appointment Must be under 49 years of age at the time of application filing Must have no felony convictions and be of good moral character pursuant to Illinois statute
