Job Description
Primary Duties Provide a safe and secure learning environment as the School Resource Officer. Conduct routine patrols within the City of Humansville. Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service. Enforce Missouri criminal statutes and city ordinances. Conduct traffic enforcement and investigate traffic crashes. Build positive relationships with students, faculty, and community members. Participate in crime prevention and community outreach programs. Complete reports, investigations, and court-related documentation. Minimum Qualifications Missouri Class A POST Certified (Required) Minimum 21 years of age High school diploma or GED Valid Missouri Driver License Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Successfully pass a background investigation and any required pre-employment screening Preferred Qualifications Previous patrol or School Resource Officer experience Strong commitment to community policing Ability to work effectively with youth, educators, and families Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
