Sworn Police Officer Looking to take your law enforcement career to the next level? Allied Universal is actively recruiting currently sworn, non retired Police Officers to join our Company Police Force in North Carolina. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance, access control, or policy-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with location protocols. Prepare detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and support interactions with staff, visitors, and/or public agencies during routine operations or special events.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
