Job Description

Summary of Performance Expectations. Provides uniformed, armed law enforcement protection and services by the authority of the Attorney General of North Carolina.
Education and Credentials:
Required High School diploma or equivalent. Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Certification. Must meet and maintain all pre-employment and in-service standards for commission as company police officer as set by the Attorney General. Valid NC driver's license with violations not exceeding health system standards or insurance carrier regulations. Certification in CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) curriculum units 1-7 and 10 only within six months of employment and annual recertification. BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required within three months of employment date. Preferred Some College Courses.
Work Experience:
Required Four year's experience as a sworn law enforcement officer. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date. Preferred Police Officer / Corporate Safety & Security / Full Time •
