Patrol Officer Position Summary The City of Claremont Police Department is seeking certified and non-certified, career oriented, intellectual, motivated applicants to join our team as Police Officers. The selected candidates must be able to complete the NH Police Standards & Training Full Time Academy if non-certified, possess excellent verbal & written communication skills and pass a thorough background investigation including, but not limited to, a polygraph, physical & drug screen. The City of Claremont Police Department is a forward-thinking, community-minded agency with room for advancement and growth. Currently, officers work 12-hour shifts with two weekends off per month. Shifts rotate every three months giving officers exposure to all hours of policing. We offer a variety of specialized units to include:
OHRV Patrol
Snowmobile Patrol
Comfort Dog
Field Training Officer
Police Patrol K-9
Range Officers
Detective Bureau
RO Once hired, new officers immediately begin receiving their salary and are paid through the entire police academy and field training programs. Compensation & Benefits Base pay $48,093.00- $62,192.00 relevant w/experience Sign-On Bonus for Certified Officers Rich benefit package to include:
