Job Description

The Village of Minerva is hiring a full time police officer. Starting wage is $26.92/hr.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a valid OPOTA (Ohio Police Officer Training Academy) certification to work as a police officer in State of Ohio Must be a US citizen Be at least 21 years of age. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent recognized by the State of Ohio. Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license with a good driving record (no more than 2 current points). Must be able to pass physical, drug and psychological testing Submit and pass a background check Must be able to work 8, 12 or 16 hour shifts Ability to work nights, evenings, weekends, holidays and special events
