Position Department Public Safety Job Summary/Basic Function The Public Safety Assistant (PSA) is responsible for public safety support work. The PSA performs duties in support of law enforcement personnel including Dispatch (communications), preliminary non-violent investigations, lost property reports, building checks, parking enforcement, and other non-emergency security activities.
