Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated law enforcement team as a Police Officer in this full-time role, where you will be at the forefront of maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and serving our community with integrity and professionalism. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to protect citizens, prevent crime, and support community well-being through proactive policing and community engagement. As a Police Officer, you will be instrumental in upholding justice while fostering trust and safety within the neighborhoods you serve. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls, incidents, and public safety concerns to ensure swift action and resolution. Conduct thorough criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports to support law enforcement efforts. Enforce laws and ordinances by patrolling assigned areas on foot or in patrol vehicles, maintaining a visible presence to deter criminal activity. Engage with community members to build positive relationships, provide assistance, and promote safety awareness initiatives. Utilize surveillance techniques and technology to monitor suspicious activities and gather intelligence for ongoing investigations. Perform first aid and CPR when necessary to provide immediate medical assistance during emergencies. Write comprehensive reports documenting incidents, arrests, and investigations accurately for legal proceedings. Manage conflict situations with professionalism using conflict management skills to de-escalate tense encounters effectively. Operate law enforcement vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws; may include driving under high-pressure situations. Assist in specialized tasks such as animal handling or loss prevention when required by the department's needs.
