Police Officer Full Time Trafford Borough United States, Pennsylvania, Trafford Aug 05, 2026 Trafford Borough Full-time Police Officer The Trafford Borough Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of full-time police officers.
Applicant requirements:
must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen, and PA Act 120 certified. The applicant must also have a high school diploma or a GED, be in good physical condition, meet all Civil Service requirements and possess a valid PA Drivers License. The full-time officer position has a starting base pay of $70,221/year up to $79,747 after 3 years of service, $8,000 Sign on Bonus; $4,000 will be paid upon successful completion of 90 days and $4,000 upon 3rd year anniversary date. Excellent benefits package including healthcare, pension, vacation/personal/sick/holiday time, uniform allowance, and life insurance after probationary period. Applications may be obtained from and returned to the Borough office located at 414 Brinton Avenue, Trafford, PA 15085, between the hours of 9: 00 AM and 4: 00 PM. All applications must be received by August 18, 2026, at 4 PM. The physical agility testing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 9: 00 AM at the Allegheny County Police Academy. Applicants who successfully pass the physical agility test will be eligible to take the written exam immediately thereafter.
