Job Description
The City of Aiken's Department of Public Safety is accepting applications for Public Safety Officer I.Performing general police and fire suppression duties in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent Must be at least 21 years of age Possess a valid SC driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record Must meet all requirements of South Carolina law for law enforcement officers and firefighters This position is subject to a criminal background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
