https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/cityofclintonsc •Certified Officers Perferred• Under limited supervision, responds as needed to emergency and non-emergency calls for service as a police officer to situations such as routine patrol, routine service, and emergency calls, vehicle collisions, training sessions, public relations events, and other related duties. Requirements include, but are not limited to (1) Applicant must be at least 21 years of age. (2) Applicant must maintain a valid SC driver's license and a good driving record. (3) Must possess a minimum of a four-year high school education or GED recognized by the SC Dept. of Education or another state (4) Must be physically and psychologically able to meet the demands of the job and remain calm in stressful situations (5) Position requirements include, but are not limited to, occasional strenuous physical exertion, ability to interpret technical/legal information, good judgment, and good oral/written communication skills.
