TOWN OF GIFFORD POLICE DEPARTMENT-IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING
Immediate Opening:
Certified Police Officer or Uncertified - Town of Gifford, SC The Town of Gifford is now hiring a Certified Police Officer or Uncertified to join our dedicated team. If you're committed to public safety, community engagement, and making a positive impact, we invite you to join us!
Position:
Full-Time Certified Police Officer or Uncertified Location:
16 Edward Maude Street, Gifford, SC 29923
Start Date:
Immediate Hours:
40 regular hours/week + 10 hours overtime
Schedule:
Flexible shifts available
Pay:
$25.00/hour + time-and-a-half for 10 hours of overtime each week
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol neighborhoods and respond to calls for service Enforce laws and maintain public order Engage with residents to build trust and foster safety Prepare reports and assist in investigations Support community events and initiatives
Requirements:
South Carolina Class 1 Law Enforcement Certification (required) Valid SC driver's license Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct
