Thomas E. Barton CampusGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the FN-Finance department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following. Patrols assigned area to prevent crime and detect violations of law. Responds to complaints, reports of violations and requests for assistance. Issues warnings and citations to violators. Apprehends and arrests violators. Investigates traffic accidents. Directs traffic and controls crowds. Performs general police work such as maintaining order during emergencies, participating in manhunts and providing executive protection. Testifies in court and other legal proceedings. Keeps records and makes reports regarding activities. Provides guidance and on-the-job training to other law enforcement personnel. Maintain Class 1 LEO certification via required training, successfully complete annual firearms and in-service training, and any other applicable training. Complete building and property checks for all campuses and GTC properties. Perform other duties as assigned from supervisors. - A high school diploma
- Must be 21 years of age
- Current certification by the Law Enforcement Training Council in accordance with Section 23-23-40 of the Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976.
- No criminal record
- Current SCDL
