Job Description

Cumby Police Department is hiring TCOLE Certified Police Officer Salary commensurate with Law Enforcement experience Seeking motivated, community-oriented individuals Application consists of TCOLE personal history statement (downloaded from TCOLE website) 12-hour shifts $200 bi-weekly stipend for medical insurance on top of hourly pay Please email Chief Kaleb Hackney @ khackney@cityofcumby.com to apply or for more information.
Qualifications:
Patrols an assigned area, by vehicle or on foot, to prevent crimes, protect and provide safety to the public and enforce laws and ordinances on non-permanent shifts. Must be TCOLE Certified Fine dexterity and handling to include qualifying with firearms Vision to observe suspects, safely operate patrol vehicles, and visually capable of distinguishing threats and non-threats Must be able to stand and kneel for long periods when needed Must be able to lift and carry light objects such as firearms, property, etc.
