: Program Director/Instructor-Law Enforcement
POSITION AVAILABLE

JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Director serves as the TCOLE Training Coordinator and is responsible for coordinating, administering, and ensuring compliance of all training approved by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). This position oversees course scheduling, instructor compliance, cadet records and compliance, reporting requirements, and liaison activities with TCOLE and the Law Enforcement Advisory Committee to ensure all academy and continuing education programs meet state standards and accreditation requirements. The Training Coordinator provides instruction, works collaboratively with other instructors, law enforcement agencies, students/cadets, and college administration to support high -quality public safety education. QUALIFICATIONS
Associate s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice or related field A minimum of five (5) years of law enforcement experience. TCOLE Instructor certification required. Knowledge of TCOLE rules, reporting requirements, academy standards, and compliance processes. Bachelor s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, or related field. TCOLE Master Peace Officer Certification. Ten (10) years experience as a full-time peace officer. Five (5) years of instructional experience.
