The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, negotiation, and courtroom procedures while demonstrating a passion for advocacy and client service. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development across multiple practice areas. Draft legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and memoranda with precision and clarity. Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses for depositions and court appearances, and managing case files efficiently. Participate in client consultations to gather information, communicate legal strategies, and provide updates on case progress. Support attorneys during court depositions, hearings, and negotiations by providing relevant documentation and logistical assistance. Manage legal case files using case management software to ensure timely updates and compliance with procedural laws. Conduct statutory legal research to interpret laws applicable to estate planning, employment law, personal injury cases, and other litigation matters. Engage in legal advocacy through writing persuasive briefs and preparing compelling arguments for trial or settlement negotiations. Collaborate with team members on complex litigation cases involving general & commercial litigation, employment law cases, or personal injury claims. Maintain current knowledge of procedural law requirements and emerging legal trends relevant to the firm's practice areas. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required. Proven experience or internship in multiple legal disciplines such as estate planning, personal injury, or social security law is highly desirable. Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for statutory and case law analysis. Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive documents. Demonstrated ability to prepare for court depositions and trial proceedings effectively. Proficiency in contract drafting, procedural law knowledge, and litigation support activities. Effective client communication skills with a professional demeanor that fosters trust and clarity. Experience with case management systems and legal administrative processes is preferred. Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
