Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will lead and manage family law cases as well as some criminal defense cases, providing expert guidance and strategic counsel across multiple practice areas. Your proactive approach and strong litigation skills will be essential in advocating for clients, resolving complex legal issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Duties Manage all phases of litigation from initial case assessment through trial and resolution, including pre-trial motions, discovery, negotiations, and appeals. Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure accurate application of relevant laws. Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related correspondence with precision and clarity. Advise clients on legal issues. Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining a focus on client objectives and legal integrity. Collaborate with internal teams on legal research projects and administrative tasks to ensure thorough case preparation. Represent clients confidently in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings while demonstrating excellent advocacy skills. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar in good standing. Proven experience in litigation. Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for case analysis and legal updates. Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal drafting. Demonstrated ability to handle complex negotiations with confidence and professionalism. Familiarity with legal administrative processes and experience managing multiple cases simultaneously.
