Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of practice areas, including estate planning, small business law, real estate transactions, probate and family law. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, legal drafting expertise, and a proactive approach to legal problem-solving. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal support to clients and ensuring the firm's commitment to excellence in legal services. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in multiple legal disciplines within a collaborative environment. Pay is based upon experience. Experience in a law firm setting is beneficial, but not required. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategies and client advisories. Draft clear and precise legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence. Assist in managing cases across various practice areas by preparing filings, organizing case files, and tracking deadlines. Support attorneys during negotiations by preparing relevant documentation and participating in settlement discussions when appropriate. Conduct client interviews to gather pertinent information and provide updates on case progress. Review case materials and evidence to identify key issues related to estate planning, small businesses, or other legal matters. Collaborate with the legal team on litigation strategies and courtroom preparations for hearings or trials. Maintain accurate records of all legal research activities and administrative tasks within the law office management system. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required. Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis is essential. Strong writing skills with the ability to produce well-organized legal documents under tight deadlines. Experience with legal drafting and administrative tasks within a busy law office environment. Excellent negotiation skills with a proactive attitude toward resolving complex legal issues. Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analyze complex legal issues effectively. $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
