Founded with a focus on client service, the firm's attorneys provide high quality legal services effectively and efficiently. The firm is well recognized as one of the best small firms in the Phoenix area. We are in Scottsdale, Arizona and offer a flexible work environment. The firm represents clients statewide, as well as regionally and nationally. The firm is offering a wonderful career opportunity for a detail-oriented litigation and transactional attorney to independently work on case analysis, discovery, trial, and commercial real estate transactions. The firm's ideal candidate will have strong credentials and practical experience in litigation and transactions. Two years' minimum experience is preferred, although any candidate will be considered. Real estate contract drafting and negotiation experience a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and investigate litigation matters
- Develop arguments (including researching applicable caselaw)
- Assist in all phases of litigation including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participation at trial
- Prepare and review motions, briefs, and discovery
- Report to partners and clients regarding case status.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years' experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proactive mindset with a proven ability to work independently
- High level of professionalism and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Active Arizona bar license.
