Level II:
 $3,718.71 - $4,444.20, paid bi-weekly
Level III:
 $4,297.41 - $5,135.80, paid bi-weekly
Level IV:
 $5,325.32 - $6,364.25, paid bi-weekly
Level V:
 $5,972.63 - $7,137.85, paid bi-weekly
Examinations:
Appraisal (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of evaluating the applicant's training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any combination of the following: Investigation, oral exam and/or rating of the application. Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.
Minimum Qualifications/ Employment Standards:
Level I:
 Licensed by the California State Bar and the ability to travel to locations outside of the regular office to perform necessary legal services; Basic knowledge of the principles of law and their application, trial procedure and the rules of evidence; legal research methods; Basic ability to present statements of fact, law and argument clearly and logically.
Level II:
 Licensed by State Bar of California and one (1) year of full time criminal prosecution or two (2) years practice of law and ability to travel to locations outside the regular office to perform necessary legal services.
Level III:
 Licensed by the California State Bar and two (2) years of full time experience in criminal prosecution or three (3) years practice of law and the ability to travel to locations outside of the regular office to perform necessary legal services. Advanced knowledge of the principles of law and their application, trial procedure and rules of evidence; legal research methods; advanced ability to present statements of fact, law, and argument clearly and logically.
Level IV:
 Licensed by the California State Bar and three (3) years of full time criminal prosecution or four (4) years practice of law and ability to travel to locations outside of the regular office to perform necessary legal services. Thorough knowledge of the principles of law and their application; trial procedure and rules of evidence; legal research methods; thorough ability to present statements of fact, law, and argument clearly and logically.
Level V:

Recruitment Bonus:
The County will provide all employees hired on or after April 22,2023 in a permanent capacity as a Deputy District Attorney or a Child Support Attorney a $15,000 non-pensionable recruitment bonus. The bonus shall be payable in tiers upon appointment by the District Attorney or Director of Child Support Services subject to completion of a three-year term of service with the hiring department. The recruitment bonus shall be payable in the following tiered structure: 1.
Upon appointment:
$5,000 2. Upon completion of one year of service: $5,000 3. One (1) year of experience inspecting, testing, repairing and maintaining specialized emergency services equipment. Qualifying related work experience may include inspection, maintenance and repair of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), high pressure air compressors, hydraulic rescue tools, personal protective equipment (PPE); and the installation and maintenance of specialized fire equipment on fire apparatus.
Additional Requirements:
