This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a broad spectrum of litigation matters, providing essential legal support and advocacy across various practice areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in legal research, case management, and courtroom procedures, with a passion for delivering exceptional legal counsel and representation. This full-time, salaried position is designed to foster professional growth while contributing to impactful legal outcomes for clients. Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Westlaw to support case strategies and legal arguments. Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and discovery requests with precision and clarity. Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and assisting with trial logistics and presentation. Prepare for and participate in depositions, court hearings, and negotiations to advocate effectively on behalf of clients. Manage multiple cases efficiently through diligent case management practices, ensuring deadlines are met and files are maintained accurately. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather information, and clarify case details while maintaining professional client relations. Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation projects involving personal injury law, employment law, general & commercial litigation, or specialized areas such as estate planning or environmental law. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in California for at least two years. A minimum of two years experience in litigation practice areas including employment law, real property or general and/or commercial litigation. Strong knowledge of procedural law, statutory research methods, and courtroom procedures. Excellent legal writing and drafting skills complemented by effective oral communication abilities. Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with case management software, like Clio or similar, is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Previous law office experience with exposure to client communication and legal administrative tasks is highly desirable.
